JUStes: Biography
Justes was born in Orlando, FL. But she spent the majority of her childhood in Eatonville, Fl located on the outskirts of Orlando. Here is where she began being influenced the most. It was hard being exposed to such a mixed community. Justes found herself being torn between the infectious streets of Eatonville where violence, teenage pregnancy, drugs and prostitution were upfront and personnel. On the other hand her native town was known for black empowerment and being the home of the likes of people like Zora Neal Hurston the famous author. And being a 99.9% percent populated town that was built by black people in the year of 1887. “My town is the oldest black city in the United States and I feel like nobody knows it my uncle was one of the first mayor’s of this town I owe it to him I owe it to my people to put it on the map. “ No one knows what I mean when I say 1887 but they will know before it’s over.”.Justes says, I’m on a mission to be a female rapper that doesn’t rely on being naked to sell records but pure talent.” But don’t be surprised to see her bring the sex appeal either. She is multitalented with gifts of producing blazing tracks and a voice to match. Although Justes say’s she will always stick to rapping her singing voice is not to be overlooked either. She’s been producing tracks for her album and mix tape coming soon and also co-produces and writes with her partner Renita K from Faison NC. They are pushing to establish a future production based company called BossLadyProductzons hoping to add to the numbers of female producers in the game.

Justes is truly one of the most diverse female rapper’s I’ve heard in a long time. She has the ability to rap for the streets from real experience and then she’s able to turn around and rap for the movement like a poet. One of the things that separate her from the rest alone is her voice. It’s so unique, feminine but hard. She’s able to move you with vocals alone.“I can speak for the gangster and the drug dealer because I have those in my family. Those kinds of people stood right in front of my door step every single day. But my heart walks with the activist who wants to give those same gangsters and drug dealers a business license and degree so that they can stop multiplying themselves.”
