Five Miles Out are out to keep you entertained. They're out to make you dance like your dad. They're out to help you forget how boring your job is. And how it always seems to rain on your day off. They're out to remind you how cool it was being 15 and not caring about anything other than how you were going to convince your mother that you didn't just drink a big bottle of toilet-cleaner-coloured Mad Dog in a park with your friends on a friday night. They're out to play good music to good people and have a good time doing it.

Forming in 2004, the four piece set out on creating energetic-dance-in-your-pants punk rock with the kind of melodies that are so infectious you'll come out in a rash. A year and an ....full of shows later, Five Miles Out have built a dedicated fanbase spanning right through the valleys and into Cardiff and Swansea - regularly packing out venues, spent 6 weeks at No.1 in garageband.com's music chart with 'Getaway', been heard on national and local radio stations and they have loved every single second of it. But, being the annoying hyperactive ....s that they are, Five Miles Out just aren't satisfied with all of this. Over the next year you'll be seeing alot more of Five Miles Out, whether you like it or not. They'll be playing shows in YOUR town, writing songs that get played on YOUR radio, stealing YOUR metal dust caps and fathering YOUR children. Because they're nice like that...
