Formed in 1996, Spot is the tongue-in-cheek, action-packed voice of the average sarcastic Englishman, and is also the work of North Norfolk’s ingenious youth of today. Rest assured, there is life in this beautiful backwater, and this band is as lively and individual as they come.
Spot are a powerful pop/rock quartet comprising of vocalist and Lead Guitarist Bub, Guitarist Chris, Bass Player Olly and 36 Stone Drummer - Big Mike. Spot ooze elements of rock, pop and punk and are bursting with vocal harmonies and catchy sing-a-long choruses - If you’re into Green Day, Simple Plan, American Hi-Fi, Sum 41 etc then you'll probably like Spot, plus……they’re not American! The band have played many hundreds of inspiring live showcases and are a regular feature of live music in the East of England. Playing as often as possible, Spot on more than one occasion attracted coach-loads of fans to the capital, for headline shows at London’s “Sound Republic” in Leicester Square. The band has also played support to named acts such as Feeder, Capdown, InMe and Backyard Babies. Spot has a huge catalogue of original material and the boys are renowned for their ability to change with the times. If you want to see a fun band with great presence, Spot are definitely for you!
The band are currently hoping to find further support and promotion on the UK gig circuit.
