Constant Revelations' story is a little bit different than most bands. In November 2004 John Dabbs and Renata Sajko met through a musicians wanted ad in a music forum and began collaborating on material. The big difference here: both musicians live thousands of miles from each other, Renata in Australia and John in the US.
Renata is a classically trained vocalist/songwriter with influences that range from Ella Fitzgerald to Sade and Prince. Her experience in diverse forms of music really comes out in Constant Revelations material and brings out a contrast thats not commonly heard in todays music. Her uplifting vocal melodies and heartfelt lyrics breathe life into each song. Renata's strongest skill is her vocal ability in which she portrays each song personally to the listener.
John is a guitarist/bassist/songwriter with a broad range of rock influences. Bands he has played with ranged from "wall of sound" metal to acoustic based alternative rock. His style of playing brings a subtle yet unmistakable edge to the music of Constant Revelation.
Constant Revelations music is unique in many ways and exhibits the broad influences of both members. From "One day's" smooth flowing rhythms to "You Don't Know's" rock jazz mix, the music highlights their strengths and abilities to write top notch material while fusing several different genres of music.
They are currently working on their first full length CD "Hidden Gems" with plans to promote the album through the net and radio.
