Carmen is a young, innovative, four member female singing group. Their sound is R&B; with an urban flair. The members of Carmen; Brittaney, Ja'Nee', Roxie, and Jenelle, all from Baltimore, Maryland, started singing at church functions then eventually performing for bigger audiences such as the Arena Players Showcase, Prince George's Community College, the Young Entrepreneur Spring Fair, DC Idol, Black Family Reunion, Washington DC and other functions and venues in the Baltimore/Washington area.
Brittaney does vocal arrangements, sings first soprano, and is also an aspiring actress.
Roxie sings a hefty alto and also enjoys acting and fashion design.
Ja'Nee' has a soulful contralto voice, which adds flava to Carmen's sound. Ja'Nee' also likes acting, modeling, and writing.
Janelle sings second soprano and loves acting and modeling.
The ladies of Carmen aspire to become famous song writers and start their own production company. They are also designers for thier own CARMEN clothing line.
