The art that you create should reflect your deepest self. It is your gift to yourself and to others. My songs are about important things to me - you know, like the need for compassion, the approaching apocalypse, bombs and monkeys, and love and friendship. I write about the need to develop the mind and engage the world around us.
These recordings are just me and guitar, so it is primarily folky. This year, however, I am recording a new album with contributing musicians and hope to experiment with more sounds and genres.
I am currently a graduate student at Naropa University training to be a Wilderness Therapist. Through this training and my music I hope to be able to bring some measure of positive change to the way we live and relate to each other and our environment.
If you sing, sing. If you paint, paint. If you take to the streets, take to the streets. Do what you can to spread truth and love. Thanks for visiting. Peace.
