the band was formed in 1996 by two southern california kids known by their current aliases, DeVere and Puke. the two of them had been in a band together the previous year. Angel Abyss had struggled for years trying to get noticed. without a full band or equipment or recording gear this was a lost cause. there was no full band since drummers would come and go and the rest was due to a complete lack of money. some of those issues have ben resolved but the band still remains way under the radar.

the music of Angel Abyss has always been hard to classify. it defies most genres. the band is always trying to break new ground. this is why the experimental section is a better place than rock or industrial for this band's music. |
