Daybreak was formed in 2002 when four guys, decided to get off their ....s and try to re-ignite the stagnant British music. To tackle this, they have combined the sounds of The Roses, Radiohead, The Beatles, The Smiths and Coldplay. From these influences the band have created songs with soulful catchy melodies, powerful percussion and jangley intertwining guitar riffs. Daybreak have gained a strong following in the Sheffield area due to their strong and highly entertaining live performance. Song-writing duo, Andy and Kyle, have been described by top producer Dave Meegan (U2), as “maybe the next Morrissey and Marr".
