In 2003, four guys decided that living in Brazil (musically speaking) kind sucked. So they decided to form a band to play the things they really liked. So California Black came to be. Johnny (vocals), Dax (guitars), Pedro (bass) and Gus (drums). A powerful rock'n'roll power-trio influenced by the sounds of California (like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, surf music and the classical punk rock of the Dead Kennedys) and also by the immense influence of Black Sabbath.
