Derek Olivero, guitarist,singer/songwriter,has been writing and playing music with the rock group outtland with Dave DeRaneri on bass since 1994 The band has performed all over ny, Born in Brooklyn, Derek who has been playing guitar since age seven, has a creative edge to his music. With his Chet Atkins Nylon String and a Gibson Les Paul, he moves across genres with fluidity and style. Derek has released two CD’s with his band, entitled Outland and Hiding. He is presently working on an independent project,"CityHall" which is due for release in feb 2005
