Following on from last year’s successful UK tour with Arthur Lee & Love, Scotland’s Draw are back in action. A new band line up, a batch of new tunes but still the same soaring melodies and blistering live show, Last year’s debut album “Simple to Severe” saw the band gaining praise from all corners of the media spectrum and amassing a huge fanbase along the way. Draw were voted “Best Live Band” by Radio 1’s Evening Session in Scotland and the videos for their first three singles were also featured heavily on MTV2 and Kerrang! TV. All this seems even more remarkable when you realise frontman Brent Proctor is still only 22.
Draw combine heavenly melodies with fiery guitars and delicate piano riffs, showing a mutual appreciation for the tunes of The Pixies, Nirvana, Kings Of Leon and sixties bands such as Love, The Byrds, and The Lovin Spoonful. Draw are already back in the studio working on the follow up to “Simple to Severe”.
