Caitlin Meissner is an Albany-raised, Brooklyn-dwelling poet, activist, educator and graphic designer. Writing since a young'un, Caitlin hit the scene at age nine with her self-published anthology of Christmas poems (Ms. Terry can tell you how dope they were!) and has never stopped since.
Best heard or seen as opposed to read, her pieces tackle issues such as race politics, "urban life", relationships, and disability issues through a confessional, personal lens. Catch her at open mics throughout NYC! Always looking to collaborate with producers, musicians, other poets, MCs, singers, activists, artists, etc. Let's spark something!
