the misled is a melodic hardcore punk band inspired by their angst against corporate run government...
started in 1998, stephen, joel and brandon formed the misled and have recorded 3 full length albums and 2 eps. with the addition of terry in 2005, they have truly evolved into their own musical style. with harmonized vocals and a rhythm section influenced by european metal, the misled stand aside from their counterparts. their ability to craft songs that are both technical and catchy was noticed by falcom records (www.falcomrecords.com). they were asked to contribute a track to "global punk vol. 1", along with 28 other bands from around the world.
february 2006 will see the misled return to the studio to record their new ep, "common sense (...and their gun to your head.)". they will follow up the new record with an 8 day east coast tour. the misled are sure to turn heads with their intense, crowd churning live show.
since their inception in southwestern virginia, the misled have gained recognition across the state. having relocated to richmond/harrisonburg va, they intend to fill the ears and challenge the minds of an unsuspecting america.
