Midsummers Day (Folk)

Artist Comments
This is the first song I wrote about 10 months ago, and its about seeing an ex girlfriend after 'time apart'. I wrote down when she was coming in my diary, and it happened to be midsummers day....its a rough cut, but hope you like it :-)

I’m 22, and currently in my final year of a design management degree at Nottingham Trent Uni. the course is pretty crap and I’ve learned next to nothing, hence spend most of my time playing guitar and recording music! I was born in London, and now live in a little town called Petersfield, which has a cracking nightclub called vertigo (cringe). I’ve just spent a year working for Sony Playstation in London as my internship, which was the coolest job ever. I like extreme sports; especially snowboarding, used to love Drum and Bass music (bit different to this I know!) and Dj'd it for 6 years religiously. Still go for a proper stomp now and then. Im abit of a carnie, and love juggling, fire poi, magic e.t.c Basically anything that a: takes ages to master OR b: impresses the ladies ;-)
I am trying to play out in Nottingham abit, but starting small by playing open Mic nights at the Union every Tuesday, so if you live in Notts come along! Oh, and if you play the bongo’s or guitar (to any semi decent standard), and fancy playing at a few open mic nights in Nottingham let me know…I really want to try some songs out that need 2 guitars, or bongo’s such as Ben Harper – Burn one Down and Jack Johnson and Glove ‘Rainbow’.
