James was born in North Tonawanda, NY in the USA and lived in Buffalo until 1970. Moved to Salamanca, NY and stayed there until 1982, stayed in New Jersey until 1984, then returned to Salamanca, moved finally to Bradford in 1996, then moved to Las Vegas in 2001, returned to Bradford in 2004. Musical influences include Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream and DJ Encore among many others.

Have been a composer since 1974, experimenting with electronic music since 1977. First instrument was a Korg 770 monophonic synthesizer with only two VCOs! Have done some writing of dance oriented songs, but style is mostly ambient and trance. |
