Code Monkey's electric and poetic alternative pop is a plausible remedy for bruised and weary souls - Honest and uplifting songs to capture the heart, with powerful melodies and memorable tunes to dig into and make your own. The band have been together for three years and are based around West London, England. Code Monkey are Paul (vocals/guitars), Glen (drums), James (bass) and Mike (keyboards/vocals).
Code Monkey's music has been aired on the radio and included on a number of independent LPs. The song “crushed by love” was Steve Lamacq’s spotlight track for his Session Unsigned on BBC Radio 1’s evening show in 2002. The bands music was also featured by Claire Sturgess on 104.9 XFM last year. Code Monkey music has also been chosen by college radio stations in the UK, Europe and the USA. The band are currently writing and recording new material for an album to be released early in 2005. Their music and information about the band is available from www.codemonkeymusic.com.
