The Fallen Leafs idea was created sometime 1,5 years ago by D.i.a (me), Heavy Henk and T.Bag. We started to jam together and played mostly covers and liked being around eachother. After 3 live sets with only 2 acoustic gutars and vocals we wanted to do something bigger and started looking for a bass player and a drummer.
Then i heard that mine and T.Bag's old friend Jimmy "Fish" Oscarsson had moved to our town. I contacted him as soon as i heard and asked him if he wanted to join us in our music making. He accepted and we now only missed a drummer.
T.bag and Heavy was in the gym one day working on their muscles and they talked to a red headed young stranger named Martin. They talked a while and suddenly Heavy Henk told him they played in a band without no name and that they looked for a drummer. Then Martin told em he played lead guitar in a band called Washout and that he could play some drums as well. And after some more talk Martin tryed out the drums for us. He really enjoyed it and he decided to join
The name Fallen Leafs was created in autumn of 2005 by looking at some fallen leaves at the ground. Just so you know ;)
So now when all members get together and start jamming, a special symbios of music is created. We call it "The Fallen Leafs Sound" |
