Collabs... the MP3Unsigned speciality! There's lots of them about on MP3Unsigned, from one-offs to collab bands such as Stella Polaris Project and Hare Of The Dog! This collab involves Electronica producer Destri and Singer/Songwriter Pidgeman!

I've heard the backing music by Destri before as an instrumental, and the combination of electro and hiphop sounds great to me! In this version, the middle section starting at 2:05 has been reworked! This sounds good, but the transition sounds a bit wierd! I would make the transition more fluent! Also, the end seems a little too abrupt and understated! I would have a bigger sounding ending followed by the fading heartbeat, which make a good intro and outro!

Reading through the comments, there has been an ongoing problem with how Pidgeman's vocals sit in the track, and at the time of writing, I still don't think they've managed to nail it! Pidgeman's vocals sound too hard and dry, resulting in a "karaoke" sound! It doesn't sound so bad when Pidgeman's singing is softer, but it's painfully obvious when he belts it out! The vocals really need to be softened and sat better in the mix! Some reverb (not too much) and the levels pulled down should sort this! I can't fault the performance tho, and the lyrics are decent for a pop song!

It's a shame that the vocal mixing ruins the track, as I love the instrumental and Pidgeman puts on a good performance! I can only recommend this track once they get the vocals sitting better!

Pizza Score: Italian/Chinese Combo! On their own, they're tasty, but they simply don't go together well!
