And now I come to one of the most prolific reviewers on the net today! Steve Gilmore has reviewed many a track of mine (and countless others every month), yet this is the very first review I've ever done for him! I know... I'm long overdue, and I have my reasons for being that way, but I have broadband now... there's no excuse!

Despite this being my first Steve Gilmore review, I am still familiar with his work, and I have my favourites like everyone else, notably "Kasha" (which I have also had the pleasure to remix)! So I still know what to expect... a mish-mash of styles ranging from electro-rock to dancehall! This track falls into the funk category, with its groovy bassline and buzzy guitars! It still manages to throw other elements in, such as the Daft Punk-esque vocal hits and latin percussion, and they never sound out of place!

Structure-wise, it never gets dull! Something new gets thrown in regularly while still keeping its flow! Mixing-wise, it does feel a little light! I'm guessing that this is cos the bass has traded weight for clarity, but it does feel a little sparser than it should! Some more action in the low end might sort this!

Overall then, it's not a perfect mix, but the structure and musical elements make up for it! Make the mix a bit more heavier and it could be a winner!

Pizza Score: Weight-Watcher's! Has all the toppings of a great pizza, but it's not as filling!
