Heather felt a little better today and did a vocal track with me and I'm very proud of her. She did pretty well considering she only felt a little better. If you left feedback on this please feel free to leave some more to let us know what you think. 1/6/2012 This project was Heather's baby from the start. I did come up with the music but she had some influence on it as well. We are in a weird songwriting mode right now. We both love to dance and we love rock music so we're kinda trying to combine the two and have been for a while now. We write songs of all genres but we really have been trying to write good rock songs that a person could actually dance to. She's not singing on this and maybe never will, but her contribution is almost totally responsible for this track even existing. Please feel free to leave us some feedback. Thanks ya'll!!!

You have discovered a format that works so well with Heather´s great poetry. Hard to sing but you pull it off well. Keyboard in there is providing the 60´s feel and the banjo sound is good. Lead guitar is great and you sure have found your "Outlet" as co-writers. Thumbs from España

Hello Ronnie and Heather, this song combines so many elements but really to me it is like an Eric Burden and the Animals meet The Cars explosion and the melding of the instruments and vocals is a very pleasing combination to my ears! Enjoyed this one very much! Thumbs!

Hello Ronnie and Heather - another gem of a track from the two of you - agree that this has a nice 60s feel (im a fan of that era so thats good for me) - excellent performance - vocals and instrumentation - is that a banjo being plucked at 1.30ish and 3.00 - sounds great - special mention for the layers of guitar work on this track - nicely produced. Superb lyrics Heather. Top job. Rated. James

I'm always amazed that you can put Heather's poetry to music and make it work. Lots of words and rhymes to fit into a music structure that is pretty constricting, but you do it and it works so well for you.I guess that's a team ;) Nice banjo sound coming into this one...then the distortion guitar lines...definitely a bouncy exposé on the value of "outlets" ;) Sweet tune Ronnie! Also the guitar playing is superb. I've always enjoyed listening to your music but this is something else. Well done to you Ronnie on your outstanding performance on this and Heather for writing it. Heather Whitley Gibson, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, grew up in upstate New York. She has been writing poetry, and creating artwork all of her life. She did her undergraduate, and graduate work in Fine Arts and Art History with a strong emphasis in poetry and philosophy. Heather founded two of the top progressive art galleries in Cincinnati, Ohio which continue to have a solid influence on the art scene. She still promotes the Ohio Arts, and continues to exhibit her art, as well as writing poetry and song lyrics daily.

Ronnie Gibson is a singer, songwriter and musician from Cincinnati, Ohio. He has over twenty years experience on the guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, mandolin, and dulcimer. Ronnie has played in several bands in and around the Cincinnati, Ohio area. As a professional songwriter he has had continued success on various websites while receiving songwriting offers along with wife Heather Whitley Gibson. Ronnie continues, as in the past, to produce all original music in their audio workshop.

Producing songs together, Ronnie and Heather Whitley Gibson have branched out artistically. Heather, having a background in piano, has recently taken up the art of the stringed instrument along with voice. Ronnie, having renewed his interest in poetry, has also become more involved in visual ideas. Collaboration has provided a foundation that relies on accommodation and respect enabling a unique exchange of artistic values and techniques. Ronnie and Heather Whitley Gibson continue to benefit from each others background while fine tuning their unique songwriting.
