Anyone else desperately filling in p35's and p14's?

I hate tax - but i need a rebate soon

Im gonna try and do it myself  for once  instead of paying an accountant , they say on lines the best, gives you your assesment there and then,sounds good to me  I think I may be in for a little rebate myself.

I have to pay N.I too....but am I likely to get a pension out of it when the time comes? not bloody likely the way things are going.

I earn just under £13,000 per year Jez, and pay a fairly hefty chunk of tax each month....My take-home pay is generally under £900 per month after all the stoppages, I'm assuming that you earn much less than that, if you do not pay any tax at all?...which leaves me feeling rather guilty about all the past moans concerning my low pay, and the fact I never have any money.
