I'm working Christmas Eve 'till 2.00pm ish (hopefully..touch wood).
Once the last newspaper has gone to press, it's time to go out and hit
the town.....I intend to get extremely, and incoherently
drunk.....because we are spending the evening of Christmas Eve,
Christmas Day, and Boxing Day at my mother-in-law's. 
If I'm lucky we'll go out to the Coronation Working Man's Affiliated
Club, to listen to a bunch of beer sozzled no brainers play cover
versions of Bryan Adams songs, with a bad sound system, in between
games of bingo, and a bloke coming round selling cockles, prawns and
whelks. But at least it's getting us out...anything is better than
staying in.
If I'm really really unlucky
though, my mother-in-law won't be up to going out...which means sitting
all night in silence watching absolute boring bloody purile bollocks,
on the TV, and gazing around the room, counting the patterns on the
wallpaper for the zillionth time, and wishing I was dead. God I hate
television with a bitter passion!!!! 
Christmas day will be fine, 'cos we're spending it at my Brother-in-law's, whose wife is a superb cook 
My-Brother-In-law also owns a top of the range Pentium 4 PC, with
broadband access and a wide selection of games including Half Life II 
No idea what we're doing Boxing Day, I'm sort of scared to ask rofl!!!

Ahah. A conesoir....erm...coniseur..... (stuff it, can't spell for toffee) afficiado! I see.
The alchohol in question shall begin with various hop, malt, barley and
yeast based beverages, probably from the larder of Mr J Smith (it's
town centre...real ale is as rare as rocking horse sh~t)...closely
followed by the results of a distillation process involving Russian
potatoes, mixed with the pureed juice of tropical fruits, high in
citric acid and vitamin C.
It's likely that a visit from a certain Mr J Daniels will also occur,
before oblivion strikes in the context of the follow-up tremors which
result after a major earthquake.

Xmas Eve... sleep
Xmas Day... Open presents, have xmas dinner at home, trip down the pub with my uncles to drink cider
Boxing Day... sleep some more
