"Dimebag" Darrell Abbott metal guitarist extraordinaire ( ex-Pantera )was shot and killed while playing in a club. Welcome to the American music scene.

Some times life just sucks! ...
But the in The American Dream is full of guns.. The right bear
arms is old and warn out and needs to be changed ... But that is
another story..

That sucks! I was just discussing Pantera, Super Joint, and Down a couple of days ago with one of my freinds! Phil did such a good job with all three of those bands, It's a shame Dimebag had to go out like that. It was either get shot or O.D. I guess! Yes...welcome to America!

I agree about the guns BUT.....how do we innocent people defend ourselves against the ones who won't hesitate to come up in your house and kill you for a measley 20 dollars. Here's how it goes, They outlaw guns....criminals get their's on the black market.....we're f_cked because we don't associate ourselves with such criminal activity! So what now!? It's disgusting..I know!  All the violence in the world is just gonna lead to

Maybe we should be wary of turning this into a discussion over the
right to carry firearms if that's ok guys? That's a sensitive topic and
tempers are likely to flare.
This is a tradgedy though, no doubt about that.

Apparently 3 others were shot by this pile of  too. He shot dimebag 6 or 7 times point blank on stage and then fired into the crowd. I can't imagine what Dimebag could have done to make this person do this. He was one of my idols in metal. He's definetly going to be missed.

I learned of the killing just before we went on stage last night, I was and am f**king devastated. I had to make the announcment to the crowd. As for everything else? Who knows? What do they say "Guns don't kill people , People kill people". we are lucky here in Australia we banned them.
Either way an absolute legend has been cut down and taken from us, and right now I hate humanity
