Its pretty funny to be honest, hes not really done anything except speed them up by 15-20 BPM
Well the word on the street is he hasnt/didnt. looks to me like a quick "sample used here" in the inlet of the CD was all he did. What a leg-end
Still makes me think theres more talented people on here by a long shot

yeah, got to agree, since i so this video a few weeks back...i thought dam these guys are not that great after all LOL just goes to show the standard of music we do get to hear with out stolen samples....i blame fruity loops myself Tongue got to say tho.... they have made some killer tracks...but how hard is it really when u steal the hook? not borrow it.... completely steal it.... don't show much imagination really when the samples used are not far of the original.... minus a vocoder or whatever fx they use and a tempo change....any muppet can do that IMO @ least use a keyboard and record the hook yourself.

I think you have to remember when they hit the scene. In France everyone was using samples like that and paying royalties to use them. They were just pushing for the French market and somehow slipped international. Hey they are good, had the best equipment in the world, loads of samples, loads of patience and the were a refreshing breeze for the radio sh*t that was being played at the time. You can't beat that VOCODER.
If any muppet could do it that must explain the internet music scene in general coz we are all MUPPETS!

in the genre they work...im sorry any muppet can do it and even more so if they are using samples to do so....yes they have a very good sound and made some really good tracks...but watch that video and see that all they did was cut & paste some loops together...again any muppet can do that

I don't think it's about cut and paste I think it's about creativity. For me the end product is more important then how you get there. But then again what do I know?

craig it is everything to do with cut and paste.... watch the video.... what kind of training do you need to do to sample someones track and then add a drum loop or 2 over it...i could make 5 tracks a day if that was the way i worked.... i could write an album in a week...would take a week (max) to just learn how to use samples and a sampler.... you seem to forget.... i work in this genre i know how hard or how easy it is to make dance music.... its easy and even easier if you are letting technology do the hard work or even easier if you just steal some one else's loops
