Somebody somewhere needs to sit Tim Henman down and tell him just how sh*te at tennis he is. What annoys me the most about it is that after he got his ass whooped yesterday he vowed to be back. Why?, so that he can get beat again next year.
It really p*sses me off when the British public cheer him on, knowing that he just is not good enough to win wimbledon.
He's fukcing crap.
I would love to be able to sit him down and tell him to stop playing because he is sh*t.
Now. Im not a fan of tennis at all to be honest, and some of you out there may be tennis fans and worse still you may be Henman fans....god forbid. So it will be you lot that will probably tell me to shut my trap, coz he won this and that......so on and so on.
But come on, how long is it going to be before we, as spectators of various sports, start to bin off our rubbish sportsmen? Im not just talking about Henman either, I could mention boxers, golfers, and many other individual sports men and women that are just not up to scratch, but most of the British public keep egging them on to.....well, failure.
It was the same with Frank Bruno. He was sh*t, always coming second, never quite good enough to be the best, until he got a luck break against Oliver McCall, and that was basicaly because the Oliver was having a breakdown, that Bruno beat him. But how long did he remain the champ for? Until his next fight, when he got the sh*t beat out of him. And this, my cyber friends is my point. The British public loved Bruno, but why? he was better at panto than boxing, he appeared to be a bit thick, and therefore we found him funny and appealing. We forgot about how sh*t he was at boxing, and that whenever he came up against anyone of half decent he got beat.
Im aware that this post may be going into the realms of rambling, because I am just typing the as the next angry thought pops intomy head....but who cares?
David Beckham is another one. He is now becoming more famous for his sense of fashion and being a style icon than he is for football, abd I think that this can only have a detrimental effect on hi as a footballer.
So whats the solution?
Stop cheering on our loosers. Maybe if we started to fukc them off when they played sh*te, they might pull thier socks up and try harder. As long as we continue to support them when they under perform, where is the incentive to do better.
I do realise that this post will not change anything at all. Just me sounding off again.
Right then....im going for a drink.
See ya later.
Steve
