A game of you
Catch hook melody here is brilliant. I know that's a bit redundant, but not everyone knows what a catch hook in music is. In fact I've only ever heard the words uttered once in my lifetime, so I'm glad I was paying attention. Speaking of which, this song is a real attention grabber, you've set up a feeling of trust here with the listener... and that's good and well because the song does not disappoint in any ways! Very, very nice.
Sweet tune guys, actually put me in mind of an artist i was fond of round these parts 'Stonedog' But this really ha a cool energy to it though i am not familiar with the Sandman. Well put together, maybe vocal could come up a bit.. just a thought.
Forbidden Colours are a Swansea (South Wales, UK) based band who discovered synthesisers in 1979 and, after years of study have finally found the little button that turns them on. We are Mark Newton and Andy Jonah, a control freak and fat boy respectively. We have been influenced by many people, including our bank manager, the electricity board and a hypnotist named the amazing Mesmo.
We would describe our music as having been written by us, musically, using some instruments in a style which is usually the complete opposite of what we started out to write, but which, nonetheless is surprisingly good. We hope one day to pioneer the practice of playing "air-synths." We are possibly the only Welshmen in existence who can't sing (we were thrown out of the choir for shoving), but we're not that worried because the music is the thing. When not writing music we generally tend to stare off into space listening to whatever tunes our inner DJ's spin in our heads. Contrary to everything written here, we do take our music seriously. Biographies, on the other hand...
Mark Newton: Vocals (well he calls them vocals), Vocoder, Lead guitar, Synthesisers, Samplers, Percussion
Andy Jonah: Backing vocals, Vocoder, Bass guitar, Synthesisers, Samplers, Percussion (tea and welsh cakes)
We are currently looking for a Swansea based vocalist, male, female, transgender or even hermaphrodite. (We don't care just so long as you can carry a tune in a bucket.)
