Hi! I am Danielle Blakey and I am a Sydney based singer songwriter and music producer.
I always find it hard to define my musical style as any artist does, but I would say my songs are International sounding, acoustic, organic, pop melodies wrapped around meaningful lyrics, but still hold strong to that catchy commercial sensibility. I have so far released all my music through my own record company Blaco.
I have been singing and performing since the age of nine and have been lucky to enough to have traveled to some amazing parts of the globe, songwriting and performing. Below are a few of my accomplishments so far in my career: I will write this in 3rd person, so put on your best announcer-like voice in your head! Danielle is currently a semi finalist in the International Songwriting Competition with her original songs Weight Of Our World and Closer.
Danielle was also a semi finalist in the Unsigned Only Music Competition with her song Fearless.
