Congenial Crime is a original rock band from Charlottesville Va. The story begins with Brett (bass player/vocals) and Scottie (guitars/vocals) realizing they had musical chemistry. The two come from different backgrounds, yet seem to mesh and feed perfectly off each other. The music is grinding with heavy guitar driven riffs with space to build melodic payoffs. Completing the band is Peter (guitar) and Cam (drums). Peter brings a progressive edge with his towering guitar chops that just seems to take the band to another place. Four different backgrounds, four different views, respect for each other and the music, the pieces seem to fit to provide a powerful music space.
