Wonderful! again.. I really like the way everything is mellow soft and the tune has some great changes. the trumpet solo reminds me of Mike Metheny a bit.

Having a boyfriend with "Jazz hands", I usually steer away from the Jazzy stuff after being bombarded with it at home - but I have to say I really, REALLY enjoyed this! Cracking vox, great song and (for once) some trumpt playing that doesn't put my teeth on edge. Well done! Brilliant!

Thanks for quiting your day job! I've quit lesser ones in the quest of satisfing my soul.
I downloaded this a week ago without even listening to it first, because, I got a strong vibe. I'm glad I did; I've played, play and love this soothing groove stuff. Most excellent, a true 10!
Hope you sell millions,
John

As an alum of ther Maynard Ferguson Orchestra (on trumpet) I have had to spend a lot of energy trying to get away from hotdogging high notes all of the time. One of the more inspirign characters to me was Chet Baker. He made tons of music without a lot of chops (heck, he didn't even have teeth!). This is a fitting tribute. Lovely vocals. Nice trumpet solo - where I'm heading with my next project. 10/10 from me, FWIIW. Peace. -->Nick Drozdoff

I like this one even more than the other. I can certainly hear some of the Sade influence but that is no criticism. An excellent song, beautifully performed.
      Gramster - 03 February 2005
I'll add my recommendation to that as well. A very beautiful and haunting piece indeed, with some superb instrumentation. Your voice soars over all, and the smooth, silky jazz feel is hypnotic.
