If you like the music you hear on here, and feel free to download, visit my website :http://www.wix.com/craigjuliansmith85/cjwolf1 from there you can make a donation to my music via paypal. I think donation is the way forward; It's hard to sell music in this climate with the internet being the way it is with youtube and stuff, but the music is worth something, so this is a kind of half way point. And the way I see it, because the music is worth it you get to make a choice to donate.
It's got solitaire on my page, a chat box and you can listen to dubstep fm :)
I am a 25 year old producer from bolton, england. i've been making music since about 2001, I started off with a low tech program called music 2000 and audacity making many tracks largely influanced by the c am f g songs of the 60s the doowap era, I used to record my tracks onto audio tape and then overdub my vocals over the top using my hifi. then in about '06 I started using logics hitkit more poppy type songs and then for about the last 4 years I started using reason 4 and reason 5 and sonar 8, more recently fl studio and sony acid, and I have got more into dubstep, dnb and comercial dance and tried to develope myself as a dance producer, I feel I have made large strides as a producer but my music will be constantly evolving and gathering weight and every day I produce I feel I learn something of value.
A musical jumble sale where everything is cheap but good and you have to see what you want. I have loved making music since sweet sixteen and I think I will always love it. I just put a daw on get carried away for hours and just hope that where creativity brings me is a good place, upload it for everyone to hear if anyone likes it then it is a bonus. I could never make music purely for commercial gain, music is an expression of self and I would not like to contradict that, also music comes from the heart and I would not like to interfere with that. if you want simple commercial, boring, conforming music then theres always streamline pop music but I am about making fresh edgey experimental stuff taht doesn't have a failsafe formula, a bit hit and miss but the reward when you get it right is very rewarding. A guilty pleasure but that is what makes it all the more enjoyable :)
