Rakk Jakks another Beta17 Trakk!!! (Thursday, October 21, 2004)
With Kung Drew Music having recently acquired the TelSat IV communications satellite in geo-synchronous orbit over the North Atlantic, it's not surpising that Beta17 would find it no task whatsoever to collaborate in cyberspace with his UK colleague Rakk. The two artists have lately been keeping the boards hot exchanging trakks and mixes. "I have the indescribably cool honor of working with easily one of the top producers in Europe," said producer/creator Edward Denton. "Though, evidently I fried his hard drive," said Beta17 regretfully, during a radio interview (of course) with WAIF-FM's Liz Woodie and "Spin Cincinnati". "I do apologize."
This fall witnesses the theatrical production of "Beta17's 'Aerodrome'", a multimedia showcase of this multi-talented performer. The "in-your-face-look-at-me" presentation of Beta17 has some listeners undeniably magnetized. From all parts of the globe, audiophiles agree on the unique attraction of this silver-headed "man-Siren".
"The entertainer part of Beta is the reason I wanted to remix him," said Rakk, "so bring on the showboat and lets sail.!!

Re-Booty (Thursday, August 19, 2004)
During a routine Beta17 reboot this afternoon at 1545 hours, the technician noticed a fluctuation in the Beta power supply node. In attempting to diagnose the cause of this abnormal reading, Beta required a complete system restore. Unfortunately, this resulted in a loss of Data. While not a terminal error, it nonetheless required a re-upload of the Beta17 tracks "Medicine Maker Man", "Aerodrome", and "Silver 6th Dimension".
As a result, the ratings and comments for these tracks were rendered unrecoverable. We certainly appreciate everyone's input and votes, and urge you to continue voting and commenting on Beta's work.
We apologize for any inconvenience, and want to reassure you that Beta17 is back to normal, full operations, all critical functions have been restored, and that all meta-tags have been updated. Thank for your support. error code: 1001001010101001000100111
Note from KungDrewMusic (Sunday, August 15, 2004)
Ed Denton here, creator/producer of Beta17... I wanted to thank everyone for your kind words and support of this artist! Feedback is important, and Im very pleased that folks seem to like what Beta17 is doing.
There are many more tracks from Beta, and we will be uploading these over the next few weeks. The EP "Aerodrome" will be available in the Cincinnati area in October.
In searching and listening to other artists on this site, I have found many, MANY talented people; I am blown away by the likes of Paul Hayden, Blade, and Scorpio Rising, just to name a few! Thanks for letting us be a part of it!
"Aerodrome" Tracks on mp3unsigned.com!!!! (Monday, August 09, 2004)
Beta17, fresh from his work with funk legend Bootsy Collins and his protege Freekbass, releases his debut file, "Aerodrome" Fall 2004. This EP begins to chronicle Beta17's methodology, his travel, and his message of Universal Sonic Non-Compliance.
Initially, Beta17 has authorized release of 3 tracks to mp3Unsigned.com. "Medicine Maker Man", which he adapted from a Freekbass file, "Be Like Me", an exposition of his self-image and programmed confidence, and the title track, a welcome to "all the misdirected people." The tracks flow into one another as we journey from the "Aerodrome" of his arrival here, before finally asking "Do you really think you know about the Silver Man?"
The CD contains the "Aerodrome Suite," a single-track version of the record, where the songs meld into and out of one another as though being tuned in on shortwave radio. Also found on the disc are individual tracks for each song. Kung Drew Music will be releasing "Aerodrome" on its "SawaSounds" label. Expect to see it Fall 2004.
