New Paradigm w/Dave Meredith
Pete, thank you mate. Glad you enjoyed .
Lots of power and energy in this, coming from all the elements of the song. Vocals, guitars, drums etc. Very dramatic, then the soft outro is a cool touch. Shed loads of passion in the vocals Rosemarie.
I agree with Scott. Production level on this is fantastic. Lyrics are deep and thought provoking for sure. Great voice btw. Again the guitar work that runs through this track is amazing.
So many well produced songs around here these days and this is no exeption.....you have a great voice...a real grower......found myself really into it by the end.......two listens for me...and i can't say it reminds me of anyone ive heard either. Individual sounding......
Well Done Dave, Rich, Rose and Scott!!! I thought I rocognised some styles in there!!! Didn't read the artist coms, sorry guys!!!!!! GREAT Track!!!!Love it!!!!!!!
Thank you everyone for your time and comments!!.. Appreciate it very much.
Very fitting Rose with plenty of attitude from that great voice!! Love the lyrics that are rolled into a great piece of music!! Fantastic production throughout with very talented instrument Guru's from top to toe!!!
Haha, nice compressed and gated snare drum sound.
I like the chorus big time ! electro rock, great vocal fx. Why change the fat snare sound in the bridge ? Good production.
Hi guys, this sounds nice and tight, nice mixdown, like the vox Rose and the music is quality, good job, bravo :))
Like the message. Another song though which needs the context of a performing rock-n-roll band. Not sure the last phrase is true, but I love the attitude. Vocal performance is very good indeed.
A good, well produced track and It's good to hear music with a message...it's hard to do without sounding preachy or pushy and this excecutes it well.
Great collab guys,a pro-sounding quality track.Crystal production, well arranged and executed...but the vocals and harmonies steal the show for me.
Very nice song and colab. I love the message. This has a "Yes" trait which is a wonderful element. Can't go wrong with this line up!
Nice track this - my only crit is on the guitar sound, its a little trebley and lacking depth (that's my own personal preference though). Lovely guitar work as always from Rich, I would just like to see it with more low end and power in the mix especially on the higher notes. Vocals are really well delivered Ro and the lyrics are cool (again as always). Great work guys, your collabs are always top notch and this one is no exception.
Long time no hear Rosemarie and glad I stopped by. You have a distinctive strong voice. Loved it sweetie.
Gosh I can hear the bjork vibe in your voice on this too Ro. Now that's cool in my book and it aint so verbatim-bjork to mask the 'tude vox-ness of it. I don't know what a paradigm is so I'll try and google it later. I see Rich's guitar has been sweetly tamed by Scott - not easy to get it to blend wiv vocals I find. I think the ending was the weakest point hun, it just kinda dwelled a bit then drifted off sharpish! (2nd time thru and it's growing on me) A few nice bits of rhythm in this... like the touches at 3min 07 to 3min 20 - was that rich? Backing vox great as I'd expect. Thumzup.
You have a very beautiful and powerful voice, and it fits the song perfectly. The music itself reminds me of old 90's rock at it's finest hour. The only thing that took me off a little was the verses into the chorus seemed a little jagged, but going back was smoother. That aside the point, the song is really well done, very professional, and keeps you listening, not only to the music, but to the amazing and well-sung vocals. Kudos!
I just finished one of my tunes and spent a couple of days to get a good, clean sound. Then, I listen to this track and hear how clean and professional it sounds and I am so impressed. I also liked the topic of the lyrics - exactly the subject I have been talking with my daughter about. Nice tune! - Erik
The very very beginning had me wondering and then the song just took off for me. Really refreshing! Don't know why that happened but really love this. Like Rich's geet work, Dave always is the consumate pro and your vocals are always top notch and unique Rosemarie. Love it!
It started at the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. That's when old stereo types from the 50's no longer fit post World War II society. There was outrageous talk of "Consciousness Evolution" and ordinary people becoming enlightened.
That's when I was born. Raised in a strict Roman Catholic home with New Thought education for a chaser, the world didn't make sense. How can a good and loving god be vengeful? I just didn't get it. Thinking it was my inability to comprehend the Divine Wisdom of the centuries, I bought into the values, learned the dogma and kept to myself. I couldn't understand the purpose of war. I curiously nodded when people talked behind each other's back, spewed the poison of prejudice and deceived everyone for personal gain.
For decades, I did the do, playing by an imaginary set of rules and principles embedded in my mind much further back than my time as Rosemarie. Through college, graduate school then the jet-set life as a management consultant, I firmly believed I could affect a discernable difference in the foreseeable future AND live to tell about it.
My career in the mortgage banking industry finally burst my bubble. I knew I wouldn't break the bank doing business ethically but expected it would sufficiently provide for me as I served my clients with respect and kindness on the side. I was wrong.
Finally, my life-long love of singing demanded a meaningful outlet. My music career has evolved out of my discontent and disconnect with status quo. Every institution in the world is on the verge of total devastation. Corruption is at the core of every one. It has to change.
Mainstream has started to catch on to the ancient teachings of "the Law of Attraction". The "New Age" has injected "The Secret" wisdom into a world of power dominated greed. In a fast-food society, Truth is shrouded by the insatiable need for immediate gratification. No one wants to work for anything.
That's where Transformation music can help! Music is the power of thought magnified by the majic of sound. The brain is a computer, accepting programming from external stimuli. Rosemarie, a 'tude vox for transformation, makes music with real emotion (not Sunday-school proper) then provides a healthy resolution. Making the "Law of Attraction" work for the average human requires effortless re-programming. Rosemarie is at your service.
The Answer By Ro.
Ro makes music in the chosen genres of Indie, Jazz and Dance (and possibly more) - all three styles are covered nicely in the three songs available from her page here at mp3unsigned.
This track is a slightly indie sounding affair, for sure, it's downbeat, but with an uplifting message.
Is it a message that the world is actually hearing and taking notice of at the moment?
