Prisoner of Conscience w/GreyB
A very good track, wonderful vocals, I think the best I have heard you sing. Anything with GBs name attached will get my interest and I know will be good, and this continues to confirm that. Well done to all involved. ONAGER :o)
Great track....lovely music...and your vocals sound great Ro! Clever lyrics too....good work all round ;)
Love it, Great piano work and vocals,The strings are a perfect add in, then the flute, just perfect to my ears and in the perfect spot on the charts. Great Song.
Great song, lovely orchestration and vocals. Everything works well on this piece - I'll chime in an echo to Dave & Andy's comments, I would love to see a new voicing thrown into a slightly more extended instrumental break. Guitar would be nice;-) but really anything else would work, even a little tangent on the piano. That's just me though, it's a great track already. Cocals, lyrics and music are all spot on - great track this and an excellent collab.
Excellent composition, arrangement, performance and production top-notch as well. Lyrics are quite good, vocals outstanding and sung with passion. I can see Mr. Oakwood's point below about the quick transition between being a prisoner and not, but don't really see how you could address that unless you made the song longer, perhaps adding a bit more of an instrumental break to separate the two states of mind. Highly enjoyable just as it is, however, and well worth the buttons pushed. Congratulations on a fine collab.
Absolutely mind-blowing orchestration and production. Vocals outstanding. I get the Bjork reference made earlier - definitely a quirky accent which works well with the song. You got me last nom!
Very haunting, and powerful. Rated.
Brilliant! Everything about this song sits right in the pocket! Fabulous delivery Ro...right on the mark! Minty! Enjoyed this! Rich
I was blown away by your vocal this is just a tremendous song which I will press all the butons this is just sublime. Take Care Andy :0
It's difficult to resolve issues in one song so I see what Andy is saying but it works for me and doesn't seem to reach the right conclusion too quickly considering the genre....brilliant and powerful..English accent to the fore? Why not...makes it all very accessible...bravo bravo all round!!
I thought it was Bjork on the first few lines doll. Well done on a cool piece of work; great dynamics to this piece and sweetly recorded. The lyrics change from being a prisoner to not being a prisoner a little too quickly and therefore don't quite underline the point that there is development of state of mind - i think the development is important and would have liked to hear more of this. Minor point of course. Well done and rated
Beautiful Piano and very well composed..with much light and shadow..ebbing and flowing. A powerful Vocal...sung with much conviction!! and I just love the flute towards the end of this piece. R
Passionate, personal, perfection!!! EZ rate Eric B A D L O V E J U N K I E

Bit of that tremelo I hear lol, I'll leave further comments in the thread, rated.
Rosemarie, this is so powerful. Your vocals are the best I've heard from you and that says something. The lyrics are terrific also. Congrats to Graham, Mr. Sumner for their parts. Really, really special...ABP Dan
I took a listen to this on your website the other day and thought I'd take another listen. Very powerfull orchestration and arrangement complements your emotionally charged vocals...very nice. A great collaboration. ABP
Your voice is so beautiful and moving and combined with this wonderful song and the lyrics, it's immense! -rl
It started at the dawning of the Age of Aquarius. That's when old stereo types from the 50's no longer fit post World War II society. There was outrageous talk of "Consciousness Evolution" and ordinary people becoming enlightened.
That's when I was born. Raised in a strict Roman Catholic home with New Thought education for a chaser, the world didn't make sense. How can a good and loving god be vengeful? I just didn't get it. Thinking it was my inability to comprehend the Divine Wisdom of the centuries, I bought into the values, learned the dogma and kept to myself. I couldn't understand the purpose of war. I curiously nodded when people talked behind each other's back, spewed the poison of prejudice and deceived everyone for personal gain.
For decades, I did the do, playing by an imaginary set of rules and principles embedded in my mind much further back than my time as Rosemarie. Through college, graduate school then the jet-set life as a management consultant, I firmly believed I could affect a discernable difference in the foreseeable future AND live to tell about it.
My career in the mortgage banking industry finally burst my bubble. I knew I wouldn't break the bank doing business ethically but expected it would sufficiently provide for me as I served my clients with respect and kindness on the side. I was wrong.
Finally, my life-long love of singing demanded a meaningful outlet. My music career has evolved out of my discontent and disconnect with status quo. Every institution in the world is on the verge of total devastation. Corruption is at the core of every one. It has to change.
Mainstream has started to catch on to the ancient teachings of "the Law of Attraction". The "New Age" has injected "The Secret" wisdom into a world of power dominated greed. In a fast-food society, Truth is shrouded by the insatiable need for immediate gratification. No one wants to work for anything.
That's where Transformation music can help! Music is the power of thought magnified by the majic of sound. The brain is a computer, accepting programming from external stimuli. Rosemarie, a 'tude vox for transformation, makes music with real emotion (not Sunday-school proper) then provides a healthy resolution. Making the "Law of Attraction" work for the average human requires effortless re-programming. Rosemarie is at your service.
The Answer By Ro. Ro makes music in the chosen genres of Indie, Jazz and Dance (and possibly more) - all three styles are covered nicely in the three songs available from her page here at mp3unsigned. This track is a slightly indie sounding affair, for sure, it's downbeat, but with an uplifting message. Is it a message that the world is actually hearing and taking notice of at the moment?
