Xanthe was formed in Poznań in a year 2000. Until now the band’s line-up is unchanged: Michał Urbaniak (vocals, keyboards, programming) and Piotr “Łysy” Śledziński (vocals, guitars, programming). From the beginning Xanthe is interested in dark and mystic atmosphere which is still most important in it’s compositions. It is hard to unequivocally classify band’s music – it’s generally black metal with some influences of doom (especially in lyrics) or even death metal. , Xanthe was formed in Poznań in a year 2000.
