New song added to profile, will be on new upcoming debut album!
A new song by Will Wrigley, on his most anticipated run into the recording studio, also his first. Called, "Brown and Blue"
Around late January 2006 Will Wrigley will be heading into the recording studio to cut his first album. Wrigley, 16 today, January 18, 2006, says it will consist of mostly acoustic songs but won't cut back on getting back to his old school blues stlye (similar to the John Mayer Trio) and
the modern rock scene. Wrigley says, "I'm trying to make this new album to try and sound similar to songs of Jack Johnson's work but at the same time my own. He writes almost entirely upbeat songs, while I like to do some ballads."
His first underground hit When I See You peaked at number one on the mp3unsigned indie charts and number eight on the overall charts. The popualrity of the song around his school
grew to the point where many producers and record labels found the song and the
want for the people to hear his music.
Wrigley is doing his own work mostly but says he is still trying to make a band.
"I would love to start a band with some of my friends at school who play instruments but I can never seem to find the time to start it up."
Although Wrigley is still looking for a record deal, he has been offered a few but he has turned them down. He states that he is just not ready to face that kind of publicity yet, or at least not until he's finishing high school. Well, we'll just have to see about that.
Will Wrigley now has a new MySpace music profile in which you are able to directly contact him. Looking for a record album is one issue that Wrigley is dealing with.
He says, "either that or looking to start a band." Turning only sixteen on January 18, Wrigley is one of music's most promising applicants and is one of the realest. This being mainly because he plays all the
instruments in his music which makes him one of few multi-talented artists today. His profile website on MySpace is www.myspace.com/willwrigley, an appropriate name.
Song is pretty good, could use less second guitar in right ear
