Un po ' più di quello che era
thanks for the comments...its actually been tweaked here (i changed some strings out for horns in a coupla sections...prob not what ditheramb was thinking but hey lol) just not uploaded yet...i keep finding little things that could be better without destroying the musicality (i hope)...starting to think this one will never be finished...merely abandoned lol
I have little idea about music beyond what I instinctively play, but this really takes me to a few different places. It makes me think of Metallica in combat with Final Fantasy/ RPG genre scores. I will be back later to listen to the entire collection you have here. Fascinating stuff :)
Very cool indeed, loving the breakdown and gradual build in the 2nd movement. Great percussion as well, which I love, its all in the detail. I hear horns in my head and probably would have introduced them in the 3rd. Totally enjoyed that, nice listen with the headphones in the dark.
yeah...for whom the bell tolls ...nice :)
You have got excellent phrases expressed in the combination of the sustained lines over the short bowed strings...the change from vivace to the slower pace with the piano leading with the wind (clarinet?)...was a fine transition ..the drums picked it up with the military snares....large cymbals and timps make it all cinematic...a little more along from what was...what is is a majestic expression of passion :)
You certainly sound like you have a full orchestra at your command. Such a stately feel. This surely would do for an epic movie. I like that plodding...relentless marching keywork at 2.50. Brilliant! k
sounds are a mixture of garritan personal orch 4 and sonatina symphonic orchestra...thank you for the comments as i'm pretty ignorant on the history of classical music and to see it laid out the way you did (baroque thru film score) was actually very enlightening
Well produced piece of orchestral music with good virtual instruments. It begins as a sort of baroque piece then develops into something from a later period, through classical/romantic and finally into a film score. Great work; well done. Are you using East West QL sounds? Garriton perhaps?
Lovely build at :30, it's a beautifully crafted piece and the percs at 2: building drama and tension. Nice.
Torquestra, the product of a an exploratory musical mind. The project was born out of frustrations stemming from the commercial restrictions forced upon any artist to subjugate his art for the pursuit of survival. What happens when the artist is left to his own devices to truly create the music that is heard in his/her head? The results can range from soothing to the most melodramatic heavy music that one could imagine. A true freedom of expression without the boundaries or genre generalizations that imprison most artists today. Torquestra is simply music for music’s sake. As the creator I can only hope that the listener will enjoy the music presented as much as I enjoyed creating it. Be prepared to listen with open ears and an open heart and the music will take you on a journey, possibly of self-discovery, as it has me while creating. The emotions and resonance you will feel are all real and true to the artist who created them. I can only hope that the music affects the listener in a similar fashion. To be honest I am not the best judge of this music, you will be. So kick back, open up a soda or beer, put on the headphones, and let the music take you where it will...
Thanks for listening...

I know...I know...It's about time...lol..probabbly in another moth it will be done...maybe...just maybe...the Torquestra site will be finished by then and Sands, a New World, and Unfinished sweets will be available for sale...right now we're re-doing the album cover for a new world so that's been a little hold-up there...thanks to all those that have listened...tcs
The artist calls this track "Night". I can see why, as the general overall feel of the track gives me impressions of a "nightscape" if you will. The flowing introduction, then tasteful introduction of the electric guitars bring on a flavor of subdued intrigue. I can picture a darkened alley, lit lightly in the background with a burning trash can. This is what I like most about guitar instrumen
