Brilliant track Tony...on my second listen....I particular like the tempo and the whole compartmentalisation thing going on....plus the harmonies on the PAIN,...which adds to the empathy cos boy I felt your paiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!!! Top job in my view.
Wish I hadnt read Craigs comment first as he stole my thoughts but thats not a bad thing as this is excellent and who cares if its reminiscent of someone else that only goes to show what an excellent musician/producer you are. Whilst listening I was thinking you should try a radio style thingy fx on your vocal so they sink back into the mix so the track becomes all dreamy as we all feel after a little morphene and codene soup :) Playing the piano ironically hurts my neck scars but ... em I say Scummy ... signing off Ant
Kinda reminds me of Peter Gabriel. Sterling production job here. Love the interplay between the distorted guitar and the keyboard lines. Interesting breakdowns with the spoken sketches. Lovely lead guitar sound on the outro solo. Great job all round. Rated, Craig

Interesting track, nice changes and a good mix of sounds being used, some sinister parts also. Obviously music is medican that works for you. Fine work! Rated. Mal.
A real SWEET Funkaliscious opening....yet the topic and title is hinted at in the rhythm guitar stabs...PAIN...great music behind this exploration....great vocals Tony...cymbal roll..."There...there...: eerie....then the "Well, Well"...evil dude...got it all in this creative-story-teller-late-night COMA-like thriller....make a great track...so many touches in this crafted piece...3:41.."pain!" and that squealing metallic thing... so many production touches like that detail...then the pause 4m -4:19...low rumble creeping into that to hint at the eruption of "Pain!" Lots to enjoy, and enjoy I did...never was much of a fan of pain, but I am now ;) Thumbs!
