hi sonya, enjoyed how you gave the track such a smooth feel, well done. "how its meant to be" the way I look at things too, great lyrics worked perfect for the track, wonderful harmony adds. good collab guys
This is nice very melodic keep doin your thing BRILL-IANT of B.H.S
Sonya a pleasure to work with you and Joe on this one! Thank you :)
A nice picture this creates as the song progresses I get more intrenched with your delivery vocally. Very nice. Dave's production and arrangement is always first class and Joe's playing always amazes. Nice collaboration.
Lyrics are so poetic and make you think about your own life experiences, cos they are so true. Very expertly put to music and a nice vocal delivery. Love the sound of Josephs guitar. Top marks to Dave too and of course you. I really got into this.
@ Baz, thank you for the detailed comment, luv it!, thank you mr:) @ atuesdayparadox for the constructive bit, perhaps there may be a bit of that, your feedback noted & appreciated:), @ the khymry, thank you for the feedback & the vote!:), @ tbwig, thank you, let the story end is the 'pattern' of life we can form that is not always positive, that is what is meant, by 'I can let the story end' the negative story end, thanx for the detailed comment, very cool, yes, I am taking on board that the vocal may need to be further up in parts in the mix, thank you muchly for the thumbs:), @ Dave Rave, thanx to you sir:o)
Ace harmony work on the vox. Superb collab indeed.
Hi Sonya, I love to stretch through experiments in all kinds of genres too....so you have my attention..First off, the lyrics..."...I can see in front of me all that i am meant to be..." visions....forward looking....I like that approach. Not sure about the "I can let my story end.." line...foreboding...but the rest has me ....lots to imagine along the journey with your thoughts. Musically, it was such a gentle start....almost a reticence in your voice...quite haunting and kept me riveted to listen to you sing. The guitars of Joseph (always a sweet touch to any track), and the track arrangement of Dave (good sense of flow...builds, take-back..movement)....all support this wonderfully delicious piece. Thought your vocals could be more up front in the mix, but as I looped back and a 2nd listen, you may have just where you want it..:) Enjoyed the listen! Thumbs!
first thing that came into my head was what a great song this is a mellow rock song that i could listen to over and over again the vocals are well good you got my vote
Lovely song and a smooth production. Mixing is a very personal thing but i would have liked to hear the vocal more upfront,it gets lost in the backing at times and thats a pity because the vocal is brilliant. Thumbs, Gibbo
Mellow yet moody intro....Loving the minor chord work with Sonya's warm vocals!!! Working a treat from my end, full and still crisp!! Full of soul, productionally and audially!! A piece to be proud of, in all respects!!! I certainely enjoyed and lost myself in here/hear!! The smaller detail adds to the excellent quality!! Loving it!!! Baz
From the age of 5, could play various tunes from radio, later composed tunes, added lyrics turning tracks into songs. Assisted in Studio for time, and sang in few bands ranging from pop, soul, rock singing covers & some original material. Experience picked up later became more involved in recording/producing own material.
Main influences have been Madonna, Massive Attack, various dance type productions e.g. Opus III, Robert Miles. Experience in studio/bands gave me a diversity for many original style songs/instrumentals & dance type tracks. Many more tracks can be heard from this website which contains various ideas. Enjoy!!!
Complete new Website Makeover, including some music collaborators I have worked with, various updates etc...Please feel free to stop by & comment too if you likey;) Sonya Stewart. x
Fabulous change to MP3 UNSIGNED. Wishing every success for 2010 x
Hi y'all, My original song 'Don't Want To Wait' recently was remixed by Skreech a talented electronica producer. He used some of the vocals from my song and created a cool, hip mix, more drums and bass orientated than synth. Wish to express thanks to both Skreech and MK Records for their support. The track has been released by MK Records, and is now available at Itunes.
Made no. 1 on Reverbnation pop charts, & tis cool. Anywayz, happy bunny:)
I have just teamed up with RedDress on my track 'WHERE IS THE LOVE IN THAT', and RedDress has just remixed the track with an amazing result - Have a listen, and let us know what you think!: Working link: http://www.mp3unsigned.com/showmp3.asp?mp3id=50227 Sonya/RedDress
