The very talented and charismatic Monti Hannah on lead

vox, and the creative energies of guitarist/songsmith,

Andy Era, offer an overwhelmingly appealing brew of

sublime vocal melody mixed with infectious hooks and

riffs.

Monti Hannah (lead vocalist / songwriter from

Monticello, IN) meets Andy Era (Los Angeles native and

former vocalist / guitarist for RPB), and embark on a

winding path of musical searching which eventually

leads to an acquaintance with legendary Jack Endino

(Nirvana / Hot Hot Heat / Babes In Toyland), who mixes

and masters the debut album to be released in Summer

2005. Also, in March of this year, the band completed

their debut video for their first single, “Shimmer

Cell,” in Los Angeles CA under the direction of

“Rochester Film Festival,” Award Winning Director, Tom

Oesch.

Due to these recent developments, Star Apple Theory,

(forming just one year ago) are undisputedly poised to

hit the music industry with a powerful and prevailing

momentum! In addition to Monti/Andy, the band line-up

consists of 15 yr. old wonderkid, Stephen Davis on

drums, and 19 yr. old Tom Dufour on bass.

Regarding the songwriting team consisting of

Hannah/Era, Monti says, “Without the two of us

together, the sound of our music would change

drastically." Indeed, where most of today's top acts

are prone to slavishly over-produce, Star Apple Theory

is determined to maintain their individuality, and

possess a magical, raw chemistry that would be

difficult to imitate.

“Monti Hannah is clearly both talented and sexy. The
songs are super mellow to noisy rock. The band is
working with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana,
Babes In Toyland), so hopefully with a little
guidance, their full length will be an amazing
product.

- Cincinnati Shows Review 2004 By Droopy Dog

“...As someone who was waaaayy too old to really get
into the whole punk experience, there is no doubt the
the fire and drive of the music really affected me as
much as anyone else. It is - after all - rock music of
the old standard albeit performed at 1,000 miles an
hour. Obviously having a three person lineup will
affect the sound, but it doesn't stop this band
kicking up a hell of a racket and - to be honest - I
found myself liking this eccentric little track (it's
only 1:54 long) a lot. It took a bit of getting into,
mostly because of the roughness of the recording, but
once into the Gilmore brain, World Made Me sounded as
good as any other 'anthem' of abused youth.”

-Mp3Unsigned 2005 By Steve Gilmore

Reminds me of the
wonderful Patti Smith. Great drums and grinding bass,
superfantastique fuzzy guitar at end, builds nicely.
Let us know if yo play in England
- We'll be there!
