Wasted Day Music is the product of one man, a computer and a skewed sense of reality.
As a baby, the only thing that would send me to sleep was the sound of the hoover. At one point when the house was getting decorated, I apparently liked the sound of a blowtorch. And so began my love of noise. From childhoood obsessions with 'Tubular Bells' and bands like 'Darts' and other obscurities to starting singing in grunge bands, playing saxaphone, brief dalliances with death metal and a stint singing with an eight piece soul band I've found that music is my life.
With WDM, I'm working with conventional song structures mixed experimental textures and vocal styles while keeping the more noise based work to my other project "Ski Taps".
