The Cracked playing live gig at the Half Moon, Half Moon Lane, Herne Hill, London, SE24. Sat 3rd June doors open 8.00pm till 1.00am
THE CRACKED are NOTHING if not EVERYTHING – Brought to you one year ago by Ian T, Stardust and the Ginger Flame – this band have been baring feet, fingering instruments and bashing skin to create a proper stink in the bowels of London. Like the Beatles before them – The Cracked learnt their trade in darkest Hamburg – They found work on the notorious Reeperbahn performing as the house band at “Eva Braun’s Tits & Good Time Bar” – Each night their Oompah version of “Smack My Bitch Up” brought The Cracked showers of applause and soiled underwear. The Cracked played their last London gig in December 2005 at the Vibe Bar – With only their Santa hats to protect them they bravely performed in between a one-eyed knife-thrower and a very bloody tribute to Johnny Cash – Horrific. They have just finished recording tracks at London’s Magneto Studios and are now on the prowl for contacts – The Cracked seek both distribution and the opportunity to play in Europe, Japan and beyond – They may even play in sunny Blighty if the fancy takes them. That’s ALL we need to know for the moment – ADIEU!!!
