Music is the most expressive of all the arts; it is the language of emotions. I have a passion for creating music – I write music because I enjoy doing so. I create music with the intention and the hope of making something beautiful – sometimes I fail, and sometimes I succeed. The songs posted here are those that I feel are successes. A note on the name:
Orpheus is a hero in Greek mythology, known primarily for traveling to the underworld to rescue his love, Eurydice. He was also a musician, trained by the god Apollo, the beauty of whose music surpassed all others’. It is this trait to which “Longing for Orpheus” refers.
