Let me start of by saying that in general, i dont listen to much drum and bass. Its never really caught my attention, usually its just something nice in the background while i am high. But this caught my attention in a good way.
It starts of in a very dark synth way and maintains a very nice shadowy and sinister feel throughout the track.
The beats and sounds are all really solid and serve to build the picture the tune makes, the real attention grabber though is the spoken samples in it. These are well chosen and nicely put together in that they never seem too much so as to seem seperate from the music itself. They are very well woven into the fabric of it all which makes for a great moody and...well sinister is the best word i can think of.
This is an ace track that deserves a listen even if D'n'B isnt normally anything you would think of going near. Really enjoyed it, nice one DG
