Hello mates!  This is the first time I’m reviewing Tim EP (also, my first victim with my new rating system for reviews), otherwise known as…well you should know who he is.  He’s the Juggernaut b****!!  Sorry I couldn’t resist myself!!  Well to be more specific, he’s the Digital Juggernaut and dwells in the electronic realm.  He can make songs ranging from break beat to dance to trance!  With that short introduction, let’s get on with the review.

Well first off, we start out with some vocals being repeated in different volumes to create like a crescendo of voices singing, “No More!”  Then things start to kick off with drums and a cool keyboard melody panned out to the right of the mix.  Now everything has lifted off and I have to admit it’s good.  I like it!  There’s nothing really bad at all.  I just like it.  I definitely can tell that he has put in a lot of effort here because the sound quality is great and everything is panned right (not the direction right…like the difference between right and wrong.  The English language is screwy, ain’t it?) and I can focus on different parts of the song easier and because of that I give you kudos!  I can admire the synth work and the saxophone is a nice addition and plays well in the song.  I’d say it’s the perfect instrument to use in this kind of song.  I’d say that this is a mix of styles here, not just break beat, but little touches of funk/jazz.  I love to hear originality and this has got it big time.

Though unfortunately, not everything is great…but it’s good.  The sound quality is great no doubt, but I guess after a while, it doesn’t do much for me.  I mean it makes me move, but I’m also listening to this over and over and to me, it doesn’t have a great replay value.  No doubt that this will be something to play at a dance, because I’d get up and dance, because it’s so cool.  Just that I think I need more variation.  After a while, it just sounds the same and I don’t detect a point where it changes significantly, except where that awesome sax comes in, but that happens near the end.  Also, to add to that, the ending, really isn’t an ending at all, more like a cut off.  I’m not sure if something happened while exporting the song from his program, but it’s literally cut off at the end and that puts me off a bit.

Though despite my picky little details and personal tastes, I have to say I can really appreciate the work done here and it’s definitely something you can move your body to and I think that alone is enough to really enjoy this song.  The beat is cool, that sax again is so, so sweet, and the keyboard parts are cool to listen to when you focus on them, just those nice little keyboard parts (because I’m a sucker for a keyboard/piano).  The vocals help set the mood and it’s just good stuff!
