Alright guys! See? I told you I was going to do more reviews, not that you were doubting me or anything, lol.
Anyways, back on task!
For my second review is Ditheramb, a 4 man band. I'd like
to ask for the names of each person in the band, so everyone can get
recognized, (since it's not on your bio) but since I'm finding time to
write these reviews by the end of this week, I can't. Maybe you
can say when you read this? Sorry if this took a bit long to
write.
Anyways, this is a very talented band judging by the professional
quality that's stitched in this piece of art. I've always liked
rock and always admired distorted guitars, maybe just because there
isn't a VST or soundfont in the world that sounds as good as a live
guitar, or I just love how it sounds and how it creates such a great
mood!
The track as a whole is brilliant! The
structure is very well, the musical
quality is awesome, and some of the vocal harmonies are pretty
cool. Everything involved in this track compliments one another
very nicely. I absolutely adore the slow sections in the
beginning and middle of In My Shadow. They are so beautifully
done and it flows in perfectly with the harder parts of this
track. The ending I thought was pretty wierd. I thought it
would end more "basically" so to say, like some rock songs end on that
unresolved kind of feeling, or they end with the drums, etc.
This, however, ends
with the song going backwards, which is a pretty strange way to end
it. I wish it would have been a more fluent ending, rather than
that, but that's a personal taste.
This, no doubt, is some top quality stuff and it looks like you guys
are going places and I don't mean doing gigs at some clubs. I
mean like going on tour and because judging on this track alone, you
guys sound real professional.
