Despairing of modern technology I decided to go back to my roots, and with summer on the way, I wanted a way to show what it meant to me. All I could think of was Isley Bros and the sea ( I know - bit strange!). So with my Tascam 466, an M1, an S1000 & my Atari with Cubase 2.0, I took a wee shot at capturing the moment! Well, Marvin once again to the rescue! The vox are incrediable on this when you consider that I only gave him one shot at the lead! I said it was because I wanted to catch the feeling. What he never knew was that I wanted to get out to the clubs - "yeah I got monitors but I need a new pair, 'cos Essex night clubs in summer got girls there!"...Try not to be too harsh on me as this was mastered from cassette! ps. AND to top it off, I struck out big time in the night clubs! Ah well...
