Cheers Marko bud
love this track!
Thanks everyone esp Tim for the synthwork!
not heard the original nice dance track full of energy like the bpm change in the break, nice work
I'd say it's an excellent dance number Kevin, but I'm one of those who can't..dance that is! This certainly had me bouncin' around anyway, great beat, vibrant arrangement and performances. Reminds me a lot of the Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams" with a completely different take on the vocals. Well done!
Cool.....very different from you Kev....I remember using those vocal samples in a track I did ages ago......like the energy to it....and the female vocals fit in nicely. Good stuff!
Very cool song, great production!
Hi, Top notch work! So catchy and energetic, it's great! Rated. Cheers, Smudge from Smudgie

That volley of synths at 1:10 is to die for, boss. To *DIE* for! It pummels and slinks, and then pummels some more. Gawd, I wish I had a better handle on all this tech...

You've done a great job arranging the samples into a well balanced song Kevin. What bitrate did you rip the mp3 to? I'm getting a lot of distortion on the cymbals, hats and high end synths. Still, sound issues aside, this is a good track. Rated. Craig
its amazing how well the vocals fit. really well done. worthy of a nom

Thanks for the input peeps (and thanks for the pm Marty).....I've updated things abit sync-wise and changed a few levels....still work to do......
I remember the original track very well, one of my favs of the year, and this mix is 'sweet as' Kev, vocals fit snuggly and sound made for it, it has a great club vibe about, I would love to see a video to this, awesome track people :)
hey vocal samples are damn sweet, nice hip hop feel to it mixed in with dance, really clubby type feel. ahh now the remix takes off as the synthes kick in and dance beats get serious., acids are nice too and little slow breakbeat hook then bang moves towards the ending with the dance beats again and fades out, quite short but i liked Rated! Matt
No idea what the original sounds like but...it doesnt matter! This is a floor filler! Great dance track Kevin! Really takes off when the chorus comes in! Easy R8!
Don't comment on much dance stuff but this one sounds good to my ears dude. Take an amateurish rate from me. It kept movin along and drawing me in and I like that.
yep great use of the samples, really likin this track,a wee bit of everything, very subby kik in the main section, its almost like a raggy track in places, its a goodun,
nice remix dude...deffo made it your own... good use of samples... only on my laptop so will call back 2mrw and play over my studio speakers thumbs up

Written by Kevin Mooney and Graham Lee-Downer (Lowe-Lauri)It's a mid-tempo acoustic song.
A dedication to DivineI've added some beef to the mix in the way of some disturbing but useable Magix vocal samples and some re-structuring to the outro which I hope is more DJ-friendly.
Is now available and believe me, getting my vocal to sound this way wasn't difficult at all!All I did was imagine that I was an extra in Dr Who whilst sitting on a block of ice......One take! And used a free vocoder :)
It's called "This love aint breaking up" Do feel free to have a listen and comment if you wish! The lyrics are posted as well :)UPDATE: 8th October 2007 Deon has now provided the vocals for this song and I am delighted!
A pop song from a while back.Well it got to number 1 here so can't be bad!
The fifth and final track from MP3 Unsigned this month, Kevin Mooney supplies us with a - yep, you guessed it - a trance track. Considering this is one of my least favourite genres, it is quite surprising that I have liked the four I have already heard from that site. Let us hope, however, that the next time I do this, I can get a bit more diversity into the mix. So, Kevin Mooney
Goodbye, by Kevin MooneyI enjoyed this track very much.Song writing.- the song writing here, is very very good, well put together, well arranged, very well structured, instrumentation well suited, the only thing I would say I had a problem with is some of the vocal melodies selected, a bit predictable in spots, and drag a little, but that's more performance than song writing. This guy obviously kn
There is alot of genres that i know little about, and would never presume to be an authority on. So this is just how I see them So first off with this review, Kevin has listed himself as a writer more than a performer, so this review will concentrate more on that aspect other than the recording ( but we shall still touch on that). Being a country song you wouldnt be wrong in thinking this is a
first off, country aint my style of choice. now that is off my chest, ive got to let you guys know this sounds very professional and is produced to an absolute T. this can be on the radio right now! Im very sorry for the 6 in interest, but its just the truth. but you more then made up for it in the production, song structure etc. The melodies are catchy as hell, the recording i
