What and Why
What I feel is important is to make the music real. And keep it real. The sounds, the words, the meaning of it all should come from the heart and from the gut. So, I write about things that mean something to me, and I hope have some universal appeal too. Life can be short, brutal, and nasty for many of us, so, I write about that. I believe many of us are in a real war with the social, legal entity of the corporation. So, I write about that too. I write about ups, downs, and all the in betweens. I might even pop in the odd love song or two. All in all, I try to have some relevance in and to the real world. And some depth. If I dive I hope it's like a swan, but if I sink I sink.

Who and When
I've been making music for a long time. Shared stages with lots of folk: sombodies, nobodies; rich folk, poor folk; real folk, and total nutters. I quit for a while in the 90's. Didn't want to stumble my way through another night of barroom blahs and blur-eyed disappointment calling itself the contentment of life. But I missed the music, and I missed the performance. So, I got back to it with something of a vengeance in '02. Now, here I am, bearin me nekkid soul to ya'll. Heh, heh. On the technical side, I'm new to self-produced work. This is all me recording to a friend's Yamaha AW1600, with a Boss DR-670 drum machine, and several guitars through a Pod. I think it's all right. I hope it's good. And I hope you get some pleasure from this work.
