The three guys who make up "Hoverfly" first met and played together in the nineties in a band called "Fingerprint Circus". They generated a large local following and recorded several EPs. Around 1996 Eddie(Guitar/Vocals) moved to London, joined a signed band and went on to tour with Matchbox20, play at the Metallica album launch, and record an album. Meanwhile Rob(Bass guitar), went on to join "The Stiffs" who's "Innocent Bystanders" album was released in the same year. He also gained great live experience with The Stiffs by touring Japan and eastern Europe. Gary(Drums) went into session playing, and gained vast studio and live experience, as well as using his other musical talents by producing his own solo material. Year 2000 saw Eddie Move to the USA with the band "Must". They signed with "Wind-up" records, toured the US and recorded an album in LA with producer "Nick Launey"(INXS, Silverchair). By 2003 they all found themselves back in the UK, and got together for a jam. The results were so incredible they knew instantly that they had to reform. Through knowing each other so well personally and musically, the music is more organic and inspired than ever, and their accumulated knowledge over the past ten years just adds to this winning combination. The result: "Hoverfly". 17/01/2004
