Born and raised in Jersey City, Jason Logan a.k.a. Jason Hazardous is a member of a talented group of artists and producers representing New Jersey. J. Hazardous is known to keep every track completely different as said by his peers, friends, and fellow producers. His range extends from a synthesized club track, sample heavy soul music or to a grass roots R&B feel. Being versatile and being open to change increases his chance to have longevity in a business dominated by change. Hazardous has always been fascinated by sound and how it is created. He soon decided to attend the Institute of Audio Research in New York City, Where he graduated with a 3.6 GPA studying Recording Engineering and Production. There he studied Microphone Techniques, Signal Processing, MIDI, Mixing Techniques, Editing, Music Business, and many other subjects. The Neptunes, Pete Rock, Madlib, and Timbaland are strong influences to me. I like working with original music most of the time, but I can also take a sample and work well with it too. These producers really describe the mixture of those worlds. The best way to describe it would be analog and digital. The Hazardous sound is a blend of both. Artists that influenced me are Common, Mos Def, Talib, Wu-Tang, Biggie, and New Edition.
